The former president's Granddaughter Receives Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA Debut
This young athlete has considerable social media presence
Kai Trump can count on plenty of prominent cheerleaders as she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is connected to Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses several international courses and frequently plays against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.
She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just stay calm."
"He basically suggested to play and have fun," she added.
"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on running the country, making him rather occupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has participated in only three events in 2024 and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
Yet she can receive tips from golf legend, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He represents the top athlete globally," Kai expressed.
"And he's a superior individual. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, following whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in professional golf at the Annika, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Officials mentioned that Kai's presence exposes golf to different demographics, particularly among youth audiences.
The social media influencer has substantial online presence and recently launched a personal apparel and wellness company.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
