According to latest data, the number of individuals reaching 100 in the UK has grown by 100% from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the number of male centenarians has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. Over the same timeframe, the amount of female individuals reaching 100 nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
